These people, after many years of experience, can identify the plant origin of the honey, which is subsequently confirmed in the laboratory.<\/p>\n<p>The purity and naturalness of honey is justified in the Company&#8217;s state-of-the-art laboratory. Its compliance with the Greek and European legislation is also tested and confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, when purchased by us, honey will undergo a strict organoleptic and laboratory control.<\/p>\n<p>In order for honey to be packaged in any form and then be marketed either by the producer, or their cooperative, or by a packaging company, there are four mandatory stages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>storage under proper conditions,<\/li>\n<li>gentle heating for decrystallisation, mixing and purification,<\/li>\n<li>mixing of different varieties of greek honey for a distinct taste and aroma,<\/li>\n<li>cleaning to remove any foreign bodies (e.g. bees &#8211; waxes) using sieves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our Company applies systematic control to protect the valuable good of honey in all four stages. Mildly controlled heating does not affect any biological property of honey.<\/p>\n<p>Our branded standardized, packaged honeys are pure and natural as in the hive. They are systematically tested in accordance with the European and Greek legislation, in terms of purity and nutritional value. HONEY IS NOT BOILED AND NO OTHER SUBSTANCES ARE ADDED.
