It is the fertilizer of plants, through which their male genetic material is transferred from male (stamens) to female (pistils) reproductive organs. Bees collect the pollen grain from different flowers in special pockets on their hind legs and transfer it to their hives. Beekeepers collect pollen by using special traps placed at the hive entrance to retrieve pollen from bees\u2019 legs.<\/p>\n<p>Bees use pollen as food, a source of proteins, vitamins, minerals, as well as other valuable nutrients.
