LESSONS LEARNED

Respect for the leader but also democracy.
Worker bees follow their queen’s orders to the letter, firmly respecting, protecting, catering and caring for her until the last day of her life. In fact, if she has to leave the hive, they give her a special exercise program. They tickle her so that she becomes more energetic, lose excess weight and be able to fly! At the same time, however, it is workers who will decide whether, in the spring, the old queen should leave and be replaced by a younger and stronger leader.
Self-sacrifice for others.
Each bee will use her stinger to defend herself or her hive; a true sacrifice actually, since by leaving her stinger, a part of her body is also ripped away, resulting in her death shortly after. For the sake of the general good, bees are ready to even give their lives.
Organization.
Each bee, out of the 50,000 that a hive may have, is entrusted with a specific mission and schedule. They know at all times what has to be done and nothing is left to chance.
Cooperation.
Bees build their honeycombs together, cater for young eggs together, clean and protect their hive as a team. Every single task is done in a more efficient, proper and fast way.
