WHERE DO BEES TRAVEL TO?

Hives move from one region to another, during summertime.

First, in June, bee colonies travel to areas with early-blooming thyme. This is where thyme honey is born.

Then, in July, they stay a little longer in areas with thyme and fir, but set off for destinations with wild flower blossoms and chestnut trees.

In August, they again head for the highlands, to pine-clad areas.

This is the summer trip of bees, with beekeepers being their perfect companion!

Business or pleasure? Business of course, since they have the ultimate task to produce a worldwide unique product, the Greek Honey!

Apart from honey, bees offer us their poison, wax, propolis and royal jelly. They also collect and give us flower pollen in a usable form.
